Yoga is not about how flexible you are, it’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are in this moment. In my classes, I create a welcoming space where everyone, regardless of their level of flexibility or experience, can feel comfortable and supported on their yoga journey.
Yoga is a practice of self-discovery and self-acceptance. It’s about honoring the body’s unique abilities and limitations without judgment or comparison. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, my classes are designed to meet you wherever you are on your path.
I offer modifications and variations for every pose, ensuring that each one of you can find a version that suit your body and needs. Whether you’re working with an injury, stiffness, or simply exploring your edge, there is always a way to participate fully in the practice.

Welcome to the FAQ section of Yoga With Florentia. Here I provide answers to common questions about my yoga classes, philosophy, and services. Yoga is not about how flexible you are, it’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are in this moment. In my classes, I create a welcoming space where everyone, regardless of their level of flexibility or experience, can feel comfortable and supported on their yoga journey.
Yes all classes include mats, essential oils and blocks.
Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. This is contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles.
If you’re experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety, working with me through Yin Yoga combined with the principles of Chinese medicine can be particularly beneficial. This allows for deep stretching of the connective tissues, promoting relaxation and improving flexibility. The stillness and focus on the breath during Yin Yoga help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and enhance mindfulness.
